This medieval German fortress has long been a popular tourist destination.

But, unfortunately, taking photos inside the Hohenzollern Castle is prohibited. Every weekend from late November to mid-December, from Friday to Sunday, this ancient building hosts the Royal Christmas Markets. This is one of the most magical and beautiful bazaars in all of Germany. These days the fair is open from morning till late evening, attracting more and more tourists. Here you can not only buy memorable souvenirs, but also have plenty of fun: competitive and entertainment programs will please even the most capricious tourist. Admission for adults to the Royal Christmas Market is 10 euros, while kids and teenagers under 16 are always free. At Hohenzollern Castle, you can visit the famous Burg Hohenzollern restaurant and sample Swabian cuisine. Most of them are prepared with fresh natural seafood, which cannot but bribe the appetite. And, if you don’t have enough money for such dishes, you can bring food with you and just enjoy the pleasant cozy atmosphere – this is not prohibited. Near the family nest there is a nice souvenir shop where you can buy reminders of this exciting journey. They sell photographs, figurines, books, fake jewelry of kings and queens, and much more that can please an avid tourist.
